Chicken White Karahi Recipe

 Here's a recipe for Chicken White Karahi:

Ingredients:

  • 1 kg boneless chicken, cut into small pieces
  • 1 cup yogurt
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 4-5 green chilies, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ginger paste
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon white cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala
  • Fresh coriander leaves, chopped for garnishing

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the yogurt and cream until well combined. Set aside.

  2. Heat the oil in a large pot or karahi on medium heat. Add the chopped onions and fry until they are translucent and slightly golden brown.

  3. Add the green chilies, ginger paste, and garlic paste. Stir and cook for a few minutes until fragrant.

  4. Add the chicken pieces to the pot and stir to coat them with the onion and spice mixture. Cook the chicken until it is browned and fully cooked, stirring occasionally.

  5. Add the cumin seeds, salt, black pepper, white pepper, and coriander powder to the pot. Mix well to combine the spices with the chicken.

  6. Pour the yogurt and cream mixture into the pot and stir everything together. Let the mixture cook for a few minutes until the gravy thickens.

  7. Sprinkle the garam masala over the top of the chicken white karahi and stir to combine. Cook for a few more minutes until the gravy is thick and creamy.

  8. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice. Enjoy your delicious chicken white karahi!
