Sure, here's a recipe for Shami kabab, a popular Indian and Pakistani snack made with minced meat and spices.
Ingredients:
- 500g minced beef or lamb
- 1 cup split Bengal gram (chana dal), washed and soaked for 2-3 hours
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2-3 green chilies, chopped
- 1 tbsp ginger paste
- 1 tbsp garlic paste
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tsp red chili powder
- Salt, to taste
- Oil, for frying
Instructions:
- In a large pot, cook the soaked chana dal with enough water until it becomes soft and tender. Drain any excess water and let it cool. 
- In a mixing bowl, combine the minced meat, onion, green chilies, ginger paste, garlic paste, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well. 
- Add the cooked chana dal to the mixture and knead well to combine all the ingredients together. 
- Form small patties or balls out of the mixture and flatten them slightly. 
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the patties to the pan and fry until they turn golden brown on both sides. 
- Serve hot with mint chutney or ketchup.
